Senior Trade Marketing Manager sought by leading FMCG company £55-65K South East.
One of FMCG’s best known food manufacturers, a business with an envious portfolio of category leading brands and an extremely strong private label offering is looking to re-define its Trade Marketing function in order to establish a team delivering best in market activation in the grocery retail arena.
Initially standing alone but with resource support from Customer/Category Management teams the successful candidate will play a key role in developing the strategy around building the function including the recruitment of a team as time moves forwards.
Due to the diverse nature, breadth and strategic responsibility of this role – applicants must demonstrate a track record of success within the UK FMCG industry (ideally food although non-food and drink is acceptable too) that will have Trade (Shopper/Channel) Marketing at its centre – this could be supported with exposure to commercial elements (National Accounts, Category Management) or possibly Brand Marketing and will certainly sit alongside a skill set that includes excellent commercial acumen, strategic ability, excellent communication skills and a level of gravitas that ensures engagement with people at all levels.
