The future for both Bfree and the category is exciting! To underpin ongoing success, we’re looking for a passionate bakery R&D professional who will bring a science first approach to driving breakthrough innovation.

Reporting to the Head of Food, you’ll proactively drive the technological development of recipes, products, processes and packaging. Your passion to experiment, bring “the outside in” and effect change to deliver the best possible products will be called on from day 1!

From product concept development and R&D trials through to machinery innovation, technology and troubleshooting, this is a broad, highly creative remit that will see you liase with multiple internal functions, external suppliers, co manufacturers and research bodies. It goes without saying that significant local and international travel will be key to your success.

We’re keen to talk to creative, commercial product development / R&D experts with a solid track record in large scale bakery reinforced by an advanced food science / tech qualification. You’ll need working experience and a strong interest in gluten-free. An upbeat, ambitious, passionate personality with a can do / hands on attitude is a must!
